Addition Plans
Adding additional square footage, whether up or out, such as adding a second floor, extending your existing livable space, and creating outdoor living areas and gabled roofs, Structural dimensions require an initial site visit along with either architectural drawings or design plans with elevations, dimensions, and materials intended for construction. The plans will encompass the foundation plan, full framing plan, roof plan, and wind bracing.
Framing Plans
Framing plans involve detailed information about the structural framework, such as constructing and arranging walls, floors, roofs, or supporting structures. For example, roof framing for solar panel installation, removal of load-bearing walls, bracing interior framing for HVAC component installation based on weight and size, and additional bracing design for hot tubs on patios and roofs.
Retaining Walls
Retaining wall plans will take into consideration what type of materials you would like to use, depending on the grade, height, distance, and length. The new design plan will provide your contractor with the necessary details to build the retaining wall for long-lasting structural integrity and ensure it meets code compliance.
